賴振昌上午召開記者會表示，不止要非核家園，還要有非核校園的概念，他要求原能會承諾讓第一、二、三核能發電廠如期除役，不再延役。
他呼籲教育部，應立即研擬全國各級學校通用的核災應變計畫，並編入「校園災害管理工作手冊」，要求各級學校落實；並將核能議題納入12年課程中，強化全國學生對於輻射災害的認識與應變，多一分準備，少一分傷害。
教育部資訊及科技教育司司長李蔡彥表示，目前校園核災防災演練重點是8公里內學校，涵蓋4縣市，每年至少演練1次，對外縣市也邀請觀摩。
他表示，九年一貫教育訂有專章，討論輻射與核能，高中課程也有納入，師資培育方面，每年進行防災教育。此外，根據各學校特性，訂有校園災害防救計畫，當中包括核災應變，教育部也訂有放射性物質外釋處理措施暨應變注意事項。
行政院原子能委員會核能技術處處長徐明德說，日本福島核災後，原能會針對靠近核電廠緊急應變計畫區內（8公里）的學校設有接待學校，事故發生時，會優先將8公里範圍學生送至接待學校，相關應變計畫去年已正式完成。
他表示，核子事故發生時，有早中晚期處理應變模式，越靠近核電廠越可能受到影響，距離較遠學校，透過教育部相關機制，有足夠時間協助應變。校園防災重點在於教導老師和學生認識輻射，不要太過恐慌。1040311
